On Saturday, April 20, we had a big 5th birthday bash for Molly and 2 of her friends from preschool born in the same week, Katelyn and Kayla. We invited all the Monday/Wednesday Mother's Day Out kids plus a few others we knew. After initially receiving quite a number of declines, it somehow still grew into quite the event as almost everyone else was able to attend...along with their siblings, neighbors and 2nd cousins twice removed.
Here are our birthday girls...Molly, Katelyn and Kayla in a friends forever hug.
All together in the spinner on the playground.
Getting our nametags, and party blowers...
Good thing they didn't make noise.
Putting on party hats.
Party guests in the pavilion.
This is when the kids' table is the "cool" table.
Eating and talking...or chattering incessantly...
Talking with one of the moms.
Time for cupcakes!
With a buddy who had moved away, and came back for the day.
A new found friend, met that morning, and she went home to make Molly a special card.
Such sweet kids.
Birthday girls on the swings, hopefully being nice and taking turns.
This is such a fun park...lots to do.
Friends chatting and playing on the bouncy-totter.

Earlier that morning, Molly and I attended the 2nd birthday party of a little boy in my class.
Little sweet boy is 2 years old now...Molly is looking on.
She loves the little ones.
Playing with a girl from my class...
...and met her new best buddy. I love this photo so much. What cool kids...we had such a fun day.
